Ardil(ar-dill) – Caliker’s village.
Blaze – Of Fallen Leaves, mate to Wind. Close friend to Melody and Night Black Star, does not know Night still lives. Female wolf.
Blit – Caliker’s childhood friend, killed after the banishment of werewolves from Ardil. Formerly werewolf, now a spirit that lives in both Caliker and Night Black Star’s bodies. Male.
Caliker(ka-lick-ker) – Night Black Star’s friend. Lives in the village of Ardil. Human.
Chesswan Lake(chess-swan) – Lake beside Tree Song territory.
Faelong(Fie-long) – Caliker’s mother. Male human.
Fallen Leaves – Neighbour wolf pack of former Tree Song.
Hrathnxe(ha-rath-nee) – Forest immediately west of Ardil.
Kerst – Close friend of Caliker. Apprentice healer in home village of Ardil. Male human.
Kuintethil(kwin-teh-till) – See Night Black Star.
Kwaili(Kwah-lie) – Village(Ardil) leader’s son. Male human.
Melody – Of Fallen Leaves. Close friend to Blaze and Night Black Star, does not know that Night still lives. Female wolf.
Naril(nah-rill) – Village(Ardil) leader. Scholar. Male human.
Night Black Star – Main character. Wandered the North after escaping attack on her former pack, Tree Song, by Fallen Leaves, a wolf pack. Female werewolf.
Niraque(neer-ra-kwee) – Forest that was formerly Tree Song territory.
Tree Song – Werewolf pack that was murdered by Fallen Leaves. Lived by Chesswan Lake.
Wind – Beta of Fallen Leaves, mate to Blaze. Knew Night Black Star when younger. Male wolf.
